AusRAIL PLUS will now take place in person from Monday, 28 February – Wednesday, 2 March 2022 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney.

Why is AusRAIL PLUS being rescheduled?
AusRAIL PLUS is the largest rail gathering in the Southern Hemisphere and we recognise that the chance to network with a wide range of people from across the industry is one of the most important elements of the event.
Current Queensland border restrictions, and the ongoing uncertainty about when they will be lifted, has resulted in the need to seek new arrangements for this year’s event. With NSW’s roadmap out of lockdown confirming the state will be open for business in the new year, we are looking forward to welcoming the industry to AusRAIL PLUS in Sydney for what is sure to be a fantastic three days.
How does the date change impact my conference and dinner bookings?
If you have a booking to attend the conference and/or dinner as a delegate, your registrations will be automatically transferred to the new dates. You don’t need to take any action at this time. Our Customer service team will email you to confirm your details soon. If you cannot attend on the new event dates, you can transfer your booking to a colleague or cancel and receive a full refund with no cancellation fees up until 23 February, 2022.
Does my hotel reservation transfer to the new dates?
No. You will need to contact your hotel directly to cancel your reservations. The event website will soon feature an updated list of local Sydney hotels with StaySafe™ policies.
Will the program remain in place?
We’ve received great feedback on the current program and are working on confirming the availability of our scheduled speakers. We will release an updated program in the coming weeks and expect this may include some changes, so stay tuned!
Given the date change, will the abstract submission dates be extended?
If you are a speaker, we will contact you soon to confirm deadlines for all final papers and presentations.
Are there any opportunities available to present at the rescheduled event?
Opportunities are still available to present a sponsored update promoting the advances and benefits of your products and services within the Innovation Hub. I am a sponsor and/or exhibitor. Will my sponsorship and/or exhibition stand automatically transfer over to the new dates and venue?
Thank you for supporting AusRAIL PLUS! Yes, your sponsorship and exhibition booking will transfer to the new dates and venue.
Will there be any changes to my stand allocation?
If you are an exhibitor, we will contact you soon to confirm your stand location at the ICC in Sydney. Your stand size will stay the same. While the overall floorplan will be different due to the change in venue, we are endeavouring to meet any additional expectations confirmed at the time of your booking.

Why is AusRAIL PLUS relocating and being rescheduled rather than changing to a virtual event?

Will there be any official AusRAIL PLUS or ARA activities scheduled between now and the new 2022 dates?
The ARA will not be holding any major in person industry dinners or conferences prior to AusRAIL PLUS from 28 February 28 to 2 March 2022.
